This is a really cool new poster……for the short film project Office Cukkeltics about some employees dealing with an out of control boss. So if you like dark comedy and indie productions, or just like to laugh at others misery, look no further than Office Cukkeltics.
Hello All. So herrrrrrrrre we go. Office Cukkeltics, “The Game”…….Here…yeee…Here..yeee..all rise. So the term Cukkeltics, where does it come from? Well it’s a combination of two words. One being the word Cuckold, (yes you deviant hearts and minds it is what you think it is……..) and the second term is the end of Politics because you all know what politics is and how its a game (in the workplace, whether you like it or not) and what not. So its been my experience and I’ve observed people going thru such humiliating experiences that you wonder if they don’t secretly like being treated that way, in spite of all the excuses they give about needing the job and this or that excuse. There should be some fundamental lines that shouldn’t be crossed when it comes to personal standards. Hence the term, Cukkeltics, the game played by people who lie to themselves at work and allow humilaiting experiences to continue. Now every once in a while you come across someone who says money or no money you’re not treating me this way and I’m going to do something about it. Did you know that 96 percent of American workers experience bullying in the workplace?
According to David Maxfield coauthor of the book, Crucial Conversations and Influencer. Who gets targeted by Bullies? Another reason I made this film is to help with some of the workplace violence that stems from these types of incidents and environments. Maybe someone watching this film will identify with a character and laugh, in stead of doing something irrrationial that would cause harm to other innocent people. So watch it, enjoy, and laugh…but remember somebody some where is living this nightmare.
Hence the media of film, to tell story, wonderful story. So to reiterate Office Cukkeltics, “The Game” is a short film that you should watch because it’s really cool. No it’s really cool. Don’t take my word for it. You gotta check it out. But not until we talk about the Lovely and Handsome cast.
Duane Weekly.…also known as Mr. Makeum Breakum
Mr. Makeum Breakum. Well what can be said about Mr. Makeum Breakum. We all love and hate Mr. Makeum Breakum, hence the name Makeum, Breakum, because in reality whether you realize it or not unless your financially independent your boss has the power to make or break you. He can stop your check, or give you extra. You can be included in a group or excluded. The boss has a lot of power attributed as well as ascribed. Hence why most people leave jobs when they encounter a Mr. Makeum Breakum and hope that the next place doesn’t have a Mr. Makeum Breakum working there.
Duane did an excellent job of playing Mr. Makeum Breakum. I gave a general idea of who Mr. Makeum Breakum was and Duane crafted him into his own entity and ran with it. It really helped us film faster from scene to scene as Duane really took on the role. Sometimes I found myself saying, um yes Mr. Makeum Breakum. Lol. Duane added his own tricks to the role that made you loathe Mr. Makeum Breakum even more. But in the end fun was had by all. Hence the beauty of acting. I take my hat off to Duane as well as he drove from Coronado, Ca to complete this project. So I dont know if the stars aligned or what but this project was meant to be. Thanks again Duane. I look forward to working with you on many other projects in the future. Thank You again for being apart of the project and bringing Mr. Makeum Breakum to life.
Live in Coronado CA. Everything wonderful has come to me when I least expected it, sometimes when I’m in deep despair, but always when I’m involved in film or theatre. Met my wife and soul mate doing “Last OF the Red Hot Lovers”. Thanks to Jamal for his passion, drive and letting me in on this quirky but brilliant piece. Watch out for this guy. He’s going to surprise the world! Cheers. Duane Weekly
Jessica Robinson.…..also known as……Samantha Lesson.
Jessica played Samantha Lesson. What don’ tell me you didn’t catch that wordplay again. Yes. Samantha “Lesson”, ohhhhhhhh. Good job. Yes. So watch the movie because there’s a lesson that Samantha is going to teach you. Jessica really did a great job of bringing Samantha to life as it would be difficult for anyone to do what Samantha has to do in the movie. (Go watch it) There were scenes in the film that I was shocked how convincing she was as Samantha. I guess you’ll have to watch it to see. Jessica ran with Samantha well and I never had to give direction as to what Samantha should be doing or saying, let alone acting. Jessica’s rally speech is memorable and may humilated employees worldwide use it as a rally call. LOL. Thanks again Jessica for being apart of this project, and looking forward to working with you on future projects.
Jessica splits her time between Texas and California. Los Angeles whispered softly in her ear with a bullhorn to continue her acting career. Her favorite quote by Henry David Thoreau, “Our truest life is living dreams awake.” That sums up her passion for performing and connecting with her audience. Jessica loves jumping into slices of life whether it’s through the role of the neurotic librarian, Terry, in the theater production of Marrying Terry, the dysfunctional hot mess, Nancy, in the Chiller Network favorite, The Killing Strain, or her recent role as Janet in the feature length horror, Bunnyman 3 (comingsoon in 2015), where she meets an interesting fate that, if nothing else, will be a fabulous conversation piece for years to come! Jessica also has a passion for cooking and produces a weekly cooking show, Recipes for Radiance, for HerTube.TV. Check out what she’s got cookin’ at www.RecipesForRadiance.com.
Cartrell Daniels…..also known as Leroy Brown.
You might recognize Cartrell from the short film, “Trois Like It Hot” as Detective Macavery Thomas. If you haven’t, now you have a reason to go check that film out. (Plug) Lol. So who is Leroy Brown? Well the name says it all. Leroy Brown. There is a funny play on words that Mr. Makeum Breakum uses when he calls Leroy. Hmmmmmm..guess you have to watch the film to find out. Leroy represents a certain demographic of people that work at Widgets Incorporated..Hence the name Leroy Brown. Ok, enough explaining. Cartrell gave life to Leroy in his fedupness with being treated the way he has at Widgets Incorporated. Cartrell is very humble and had the morning chant(oh, I gave that away) memorized. Cartrell is also an aspiring writer and I told him that I don’t care if I’m a extra I want to be apart of his next production. Thanks again Cartrell and looking forward to working with you on future projects.
Cartrell Daniels was born June 26, 1983 in Los Angeles where he fell in love with music and creativity as a whole at a young age. He is the younger of 2 children. Roots go back to North Carolina where his mother was born. Father was born in Los Angeles. Daniels is a talented young actor who truly fell in love with the grind of the art at the age of 26.
Leala Anajafi……also known as Yessica Juramina.
Leala played Yessica Juramina. Who happens to be good friends with Trixie Johnson. Yessica if anybody should be mad at widgets incorporated should be really mad. As when you watch the film you will see what she has to put up with on a regular basis. Leala did a great job of bringing Yessica to life and made the believeability of Yessica and Trixie being friends very apparent. There were some other things that Leala did that made the project fun. Guess you have to see it to find out. (Plug)
Leala’s bio will be coming soon.
Matthew Alan Rawles…also known as Dean Chancerson.
Matthew also played in the short film, “Trois Like It Hot” if his face looks familiar. By the way you can catch commercials if you live in L.A. on the “WE” network on monday-wednesdays. Sia played Trixie Johnson. Yes. no play on words here. Just an employee named Trixie johnson. Some times bad managers have employees that are smart and don’t know how to deal with them. Trixie is that employee. Thanks again Sia for bringing Trixie to life. I look forward to working on future film projects with you. Thank You.

T’Lane Balue….also known as Linda Promenade
Linda Promenade is a very quiet married woman who works at widgets incorporated and does her best no matter what the cost to be quiet and go with the flow of things. Hence the words, “No matter what the cost”. T’Lane brought Linda to life in more ways than one. Yes, watch the film to find out how. Linda is a reminder to everyone that sometimes staying below the radar is good and bad. T’Lane thank you again for being apart of this project. You will see T’Lane again in the fall in a horror/short called Party Bus “One”. Thanks again looking forward to working with you in the future.
T’Lane Balue is a down to earth, girl next door who was raised on a farm in Pratt, Kansas — but from a very early age, she knew farm life was not for her. So she began performing with Pratt Music Theatre in many well known musicals including, Annie, The King & I, Lil Abner, and many more. Then in 2009, she made the move to Los Angeles to further pursue a career in acting. Since moving to the city of angels, she has found success in both dramatic and comedic roles. I hope you enjoy her comedic take on the quiet, voiceless Linda in Office Cukkeltics: The Game.
Victoria Marcello…also known as….Cindy Macintire.
Victoria was a blast to work with as always. She played Cindy Macintire who puts up with alot of Mr. Makeum Breakum’s bad behavior…not gonna tell you what…guess you have to watch the movie. And yes, that Lovely face and body that you recognize, you’ve seen before, gasp, can you guess where? Yes, the short film “Trois Like It Hot” well, well what do you know? Victoria will be in a future production that is tentatively called “Klan Wars” if she likes the script once I present it to her and what not. I always feel humbled in the presence of great talent. Victoria thank you again for being apart of the project and look forward to working with you in the future.
Victoria started out like most of us: As a baby. As she grew up, she realized performing was the thing and dedicated herself to a four-year program resulting in her B.A. in Acting (& Philosophy for fun). Check out Victoria Angela Marcello’s YouTube page for more short films very soon!
Last but not least….Maxi Witrak…..as..Cinnamon Grandlyfe
Maxi Witrak played Cinnamon Grandlyfe. If you put together the fact that Maxi has red hair and the character’s name is Cinnamon Grandlyfe, WoW. You are truly amazing. Maxi or rather Cinnamon is the flighty one at the office. We’ve all been at workplaces where someone is completely oblivious to what’s going on at work…and that person happens to be the workplace wellness coordinator. Wow. Sounds for an interesting character, yes it does, and you have to wacth the film to find out. Thanks again, Maxi. looking forward to working with you in the future. Yes, you did see Maxi on television if you watch the WE network as “Trois Like It Hot” is being advertised on television right now, and you can see Maxi as Raven in the film.
